Philadelphia, PA (03/03/10)
Headed to Philadelphia, PA after staying in the house Ben grew up in. We went to Chuck’s, the music store that both Tom and Ben worked at, while Andrew ran to Best Buy to buy a new tape adapter ($26!!!! A stupid amount of money if you ask me). He also attempted to buy the new Rocket Summer record but they were sold out… GO HEAD!!! So we headed to Philly and loaded into the M Room. It was an okay show, and by okay I mean there were like 20 people there scattered throughout the room. I have to say, Philly has been one of the hardest cities we’ve tried to break into. NYC, going great… Carolinas, even better! Philly… not so great. After the show, we stayed with our high school friend Ashley, who now lives in Philly. She got us two pizzas which were 90% gone by the time I was out of the shower. There just wasn’t much to report to ya’ll on our Philly excursion. Kind of fun, kind of okay show, kind of lot’s of things… And all I wanted was a Philly Cheese steak… Still haven’t had one. There’s always next time, but I say that every time.
