PARACHUTE MUSICAL

Fayetteville, NC (02/29/10)

Every once and a while when we head out on tour we have an off day. We hate having off days because, as I said before, it’s important that we make the most of everyday that were out. This tour was set to have two off days for whatever reason. We decided to head to Fayetteville, NC to play an open mic night to fill one of them in. The last time we did that it turned out very successful. Not only did we make over $300 but Andrew and Ben got an all expenses paid trip to a strip club and I got a free tattoo the next day. So it was decided, we went to Fayetteville. When we pulled up we started to rethink our decision. Ton’s on young boys and girls wearing Jinco jeans, chains, piercings, Marilyn Manson t-shirts and upside down crosses painted on their foreheads. We thought we were going to get booed off stage. We set up and to our surprise there were about 20 people there to see us. Apparently, a girl saw us play in Charleston two nights before and told her friend in Fayetteville that we were coming her way in a few days. That person came out and told all her friends and we ended up playing a full set instead of the 6 songs we were told play. It turned out great, we were put up in a nice place and everything went well.
