Macon, GA (02/26/10)
Macon has been good to us and this trip was no exception. Our friend Sean, who did some tour managing for our friends All Get Out, was running sound and doing a million other things at the venue. The show was sponsored by theblueindian.com, which put a lot of time into promotions… something we’re very grateful for. The only really funny thing that stands out from today was the fact that Ben spent an hour, literally one hour, searching for the song “Funky Town” on his iPod. When the song started, he was so pleased with himself having found it. Then the chorus hit and he remembered why he forgot it. So we got to the venue, played the show, ate some Greek food, went back to Sean’s house, played his sweet vintage keyboards (which were in perfect working condition), ate some sorbet, watched Billy Madison and went to bed. Did you know that Ben laughs in his sleep? Well, you do now.
