Columbus, GA (02/25/10)
Starting in Nashville, as all tours do for us, we packed up and headed to Columbus, GA for the first day of a new tour. It was a very VERY long drive. I bought fireworks and have been setting them off in inappropriate places. It’s been great. The video will show this but it’s worth mentioning the miniature slave figurines in this redneck fireworks rest stop. Still kind of blows my mind to see that shit. So after a Taco Bell meal, the first of many this tour, we made it to Club 85, which was a great venue. It was slightly void of people but we were taken care of. We played a good show but I’m still considering it a warm-up to the rest of the tour. After messing around with the bar tenders light sabers (yes… I said light sabers) we went to a house occupied by a girl named Katy who kept calling me Ben Folds. She can burn in hell ; )
