PARACHUTE MUSICAL

No Comfort Release Tour - St. Louis, MO (Day 2)

The drive from Nashville to St. Louis if very familar to PM.  I think this makes eight or nine St. Louis shows for us.  Unfortunately, the majority of them have been poorly attended and unproductive.  For whatever reason, this time was different.  We had a nice crowd of about 30 or 40 people there, many of which were there to see us.  That was such a great feeling.  The following story was NOT a great feeling.  So, I was rushing on stage to set up all of my shit (I brought a few more things this tour because I’m playing a new song on guitar…  I”m still getting used to stuff).  Well, I had the capo on the wrong damn fret…  one fret away from where it should have been.  Needless to say, the song was a train wreck.  We cut it out early and made light of the situation…  I ended up thinking it was pretty funny, but in the moment it was horrible.  I haven’t had an on-stage disaster like that in a while now…  the last being when I pooped my pants at the beginning of a set in Tampa…  That’s a joke.  This, however, is not a joke:  The band before us was FREAKING HORRIBLE.  I’m not going to name names, but let me tell you…  absolutely horrible.  I’m not knocking peoples music here, I’m referring to his character.  He was a rude, middle aged, “gonna make it someday playing St. Louis once a month to my work mates” DUDE…  spitting ice on the crowd…  insecure…  ASSHOLE.  He was such an idiot, blurting out to much of the crowd horrible, un-P.C. terms names such as “fucking faggot” and the like…  TICKING TIME BOMB.  He probably cried himself to sleep that night.

After the show, we went over to our good friend Bobbby’s house.  He had a fire roaring and places laid out for us.  He’s a chiropractor and even adjusted Ben’s and my back/neck.  It was an awesome post-show experience…  he needs to come on tour with us.

p.s. - ever been adjusted by a chiropractor? tell me what you thought.
