September Tour (kick off)
We’re getting really excited to go out on our last major tour of this year. I know there’s a lot of time between now and January (next tour), but we have a lot of material to learn and even more to get recorded. We’re heading on the road with Keegan DeWitt, a Nashville musician who just finished a new record that he’ll be releasing this tour. This seems to be a very well publicized run so we’re all really excited about it.
It is sad to think that this will be our last tour until January, minus a few shows here and there. We have been touring off of Everything Is Working Out Fine In Some Town (E.I.W.O.F.I.S.T for short) since it’s release over a year ago. We’re a little tired and very ready to have new material out for everyone, hence the break. But we love being on the road so much. It’s the worlds greatest practice space. You get to showcase everything you do musically to everyone you meet and see if you pass or fail. It’s very exciting to play new material for new faces and see their response… and if they don’t like it, well then we just shoot them.
